Monday, July 27	We announced that Amazon Aurora is Now Available. We announced the WorkSpaces Application Manager (WAM) Lite Plan. The Cloud Academy Blog announced a New Amazon Machine Learning Course. The OpenSource Connections Blog discussed JMESPath Query in the AWS CLI. The Platform discussed Boosting the Genomics Pipeline on the Amazon Cloud. AWS Evangelist Danilo Poccia wrote about AutoScaling2IFTTT, a Sample AWS Lambda function to Push EC2 Auto Scaling Notifications to IFTTT.
Tuesday, July 28	We announced the Developer Preview of the AWS Mobile SDK for Xamarin. We announced an Amazon S3 Update – Notification Enhancements & Bucket Metrics. We announced that Version 3 of the AWS SDK for .NET is Out of Preview. We announced that Amazon Redshift Now Supports Cross-Region Backups for KMS-Encrypted Clusters. Tim Bell wrote about Deploying From CodePipeline to OpsWorks Using a Custom Action and Lambda. The [startublog] talked about Building Customer Trust at Tito. The Tableau Blog announced Direct Connect to Amazon Aurora. The Trek10 Blog discussed Immutable Deploys with Containers. The Dome9 Blog announced that Dome9 Clarity Visualization Now Supports CloudFormation.
Wednesday, July 29	We announced a License-Included Offering for SQL Server Enterprise Edition on Amazon RDS. We announced that Amazon Kinesis is Now Available in the AWS China (Beijing) Region. The AWS Big Data Blog showed you how to Connect R with Amazon Redshift. The AWS Mobile Development Blog explained How Amazon Cognito Keep Mobile App Users’ Data Safe. The AWS Security Blog announced that an Updated HIPAA Whitepaper is Now Available. The RightScale Blog announced a Product Update with AWS China Support and More. The Informatica Blog announced Data Integration Capabilities for Amazon Aurora. The We Kanban Blog published Part 1 of a Review of Elastic Beanstalk. The 2nd Watch Blog discussed Application Development in the Cloud. The Cloud Academy Blog reviewed the Amazon API Gateway.
Thursday, July 30	We announced an AWS OpsWorks Update to Provision & Manage ECS Container Instances and Run RHEL 7. We welcomed the Newest AWS Community Heroes. We announced that Amazon ElastiCache now Supports Redis version 2.8.21. We announced an ElastiCache Memcached Auto Discovery Client for PHP 5.6 and open sourced it. We updated the AWS SDK for Java, AWS CLI, AWS SDK for Ruby, AWS SDK for Go, AWS Tools for Windows PowerShell, and the AWS SDK for JavaScript. The Dome9 Blog reminded us that AWS Security Group Management is NOT a Checklist of Tasks. We published a new white paper: RDBMS in the Cloud: Deploying SQL Server on AWS.
Friday, July 31	We announced that the Alexa Voice Service is Now Available in Developer Preview. We announced that Spot Fleet now Launches Spot Instances in the Lowest Priced Availability Zone When You Specify Multiple VPC Subnets or AZs. The AWS Enterprise Blog pondered Considering DevOps in Your Enterprise? The AWS Startup Collection previewed What’s Hot at AWS Pop-up Lofts in August. The Bitnami Blog announced several new AWS-enabled additions to their library this week including Simple Machines forum, ReportServer, CrushFTP, HHVM, and PHP 7.

• cwlogs-s3 is a gem to download CloudWatch logs and upload to S3 for processing.
• aws-elasticache-cluster-client-memcached-for-php is an enhanced PHP library to connect to ElastiCache clusters.
• grunt-aws-lambda is a Grunt plugin to assist in developing functions for AWS Lambda.
